7 Routine Habits To Drop or Modify

Assalam-u Aalaikum(Greetings) To Everyone.

This blog is going to be about the habits that you think 🤔 are healthy for you but are actually doing more harm than good & it’s time to drop them.

“Chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.” – Warren Buffett

‘Whatever I am writing is based on my knowledge, experiences, and research that I have done to provide u guys with the best of information’.💯

  Let’s Dive Into It!!!⇒⇒

1) Checking up Phone 📱Right After Waking up:

Even I am 🙋 guilty of checking my phone 📱📱 as soon as I wake up in the morning☀☀, but I am working on this habit of mine and I want you guys to shake this habit off as well.

You know checking up your phone immediately throws you into a CATCH-UP mode . There are either messages💭💬💬 to respond, snap chats to watch, Instagram photos to like, or may be some current news to be updated of. All of this is a lot of stimuli for your body and brain to be bombarded with💣. And this might lead to stress, anxiety and make it difficult for you to prioritize tasks.

Don’t get me wrong. Yes, I agree, reading message from your loved ❤️one first thing in the morning can brighten🌞 your day. But make sure you don’t consume yourself with other notifications.

Try changing this habit for a couple of days and I know it will benefit a lot.

2) Drinking Coffee☕ Right after waking up:

I don’t know if you are a chai person or coffee. But PLEASE don’t have these drinks first thing in the morning. Try starting out your day with a glass of Luke warm water with lemon 🍋squeezed to re hydrate💦 your body.

Try to avoid them on empty stomach. Have them either with a meal🍴 or after an hour or so of waking up.

Personally, I don’t like these drinks at all be it chai or coffee. Yes, I do drink coffee during my exam days, but no more than a cup or in extreme cases may be two.

Lastly, I know it is going to be hard but Try substituting coffee or chai with green Tea.🍵

3) Late Breakfast🍳

This is not about the importance of having breakfast, as we all are familiar how important it is to have breakfast, but don’t have it too late.🍳 Have it within two hours of waking up.

The sooner you eat your breakfast, the better it is going to be for your body to starts its metabolic process and boost you up with some fresh energy.⚡⚡

4)Eating at a fast pace:

Don't rush into eating.Take your time to eat.

Not only will it help in digestion but will also make you consume less. Moreover, it will enhance the pleasure of the dining experience.

5) Brushing Your teeth Right After Eating:

Yes, I agree, brushing your teeth after a meal is good, but don’t just rush into brushing teeth right after eating food.

This  can actually damage the enamel of your teeth. Brush your teeth after 30-40 minutes of eating.

6) Dinner too late:

Ahhh!!! I am guilty. Try to avoid eating too late at night because as night approaches your metabolisms slows down which may impair the digestion process and might be a reason for you to gain weight, which of course no one wants, right??>

And try to avoid eating heavy meals at night.

7) Too many hours on social media:

Yeah, I get it. It’s an age of social media but try to limit your hours. Social media can be too toxic for mental health at times. Try sitting out in open air🌄, reading something out 📖or may be working out a bit.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

So Here It Ends...
